Next-Generation Energy for Residential Integration

Green Fuel is developing patented hydrogen production technology intended for integration into next-generation home energy systems by qualified manufacturers, system integrators, and builders.


Our technology enables high-pressure hydrogen generation at the point of use, without external compressors and without added compression energy. Hydrogen is produced directly from water and delivered already pressurized, enabling new approaches to residential energy storage, backup power, and thermal support.

Solar + Long-Duration Energy Storage

Conventional residential solar systems rely heavily on batteries, which can be expensive, space-constrained, and limited in duration.


Green Fuel’s technology enables hydrogen to function as long-duration energy storage, complementing or replacing battery systems in residential applications where extended runtime or seasonal storage is required.

 

For new builds, off-grid homes, and microgrid-style residential environments, hydrogen can be integrated alongside solar and battery systems to create hybrid energy architectures.

These systems prioritize:

  • Energy independence
  • Resilience during outages
  • Reduced reliance on grid infrastructure

 

Green Fuel’s technology is designed to support these architectures at the system level.

Residential Thermal & HVAC Support

Hydrogen produced using Green Fuel’s system can support residential thermal energy needs, including space heating and hybrid HVAC configurations.


This capability allows future home energy systems to address both electrical and thermal loads within a unified architecture, while maintaining familiar end-use functionality.


Specific appliance implementations are the responsibility of licensed manufacturers and integrators.
